Tony Nguyen Psychology Group

Your partner in mental health and performance

The Origin Story

Tony Nguyen Psychology Group  (TNPG) was founded by Tony out of a passion for psychology. There are many psychology clinics that provide mental health services and consultancies that provide organisational psychology services but very few provide both. Fewer still leveraged the power of technology and thus a gap in the market existed and TNPG was born. Today, TNPG assists many individuals with their mental health journeys and organisations with a variety of human-centered problems. The values we extolled upon inception are listed here and permiate the products and services that we create, and the people that we serve.

Clinical Bio

We all fall on hard times. Darkness is a part of the human condition, and heartbreak often strikes when we least expect it. The counterbalance is a deep human connection – a helping hand or guiding light. The first step to getting that help is often the hardest, and finding the right person is important. That help can be the difference, and it’s one of the reasons why I became a psychologist.

In the private practice space, I work with adults from a wide variety of backgrounds to improve their mental health or perform at a higher level. I have a particular interests in working with neurodiverse presentations (e.g., ASD & ADhD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), personality disorders, and cross-cultural issues.

My therapeutic work draws on several schools of thought including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Psychodynamic theory, and Existential philosophy. I take an individualised and integrative approach to my clinical work by drawing on theory and practice experience to generate insight and tailor strategies to your needs.

I view therapy as a safe space where we work together towards a shared goal. For some, it may involve education and developing strategies to manage a range of mental health conditions. For others, it may be a space for exploring identity, unearthing truths, or creating new visions. I look forward to hearing your story and helping you achieve your goals.
