Clinical & Counselling Psychology

A little bit of help

We all fall on hard times. Darkness and malevolence are part of the human condition, and tragedy often strikes when we least expect it. The counterbalance is a deep human connection – a helping hand or guiding light. The first step to getting that help is often the hardest, and finding the right person is important. That help can be the difference, and it’s one of the key reasons why I became a psychologist.

My working Philosophy

I see the role of myself, the psychologist, as your advocate; the person in your corner who unconditionally has your back. I see you as the expert of your life and past experiences, and the  architect of your own life.

I believe that creating a safe space where individuals can explore their identity, sense of meaning, and way of being is fundamental to any measure of growth – whether it be reducing symptoms relating to a particular constellation of psychopathologies or helping individuals perform at a higher level.

I take an integrative approach, drawing on a wide toolkit of therapeutic techniques to help you explore your inner world in more detail, gain insight into your condition, manage your symptoms, and ultimately get you to the place where you want to be.
